Hair to be bold

FRO. Beauty

Creative Direction + Design

My work for London-based haircare babes, FRO., includes logo design, creating proprietary assets such as backgrounds and stickers, developing overarching brand identity, and providing creative direction for photoshoots, packaging design, and social media.

FRO. is a next generation beauty ecosystem on a mission to redefine and innovate the textured hair experience through science-first product formulation, creating engaging social content, and developing a platform for educational blog posts and stylist directories. The brand aims to bring quality haircare to Gen-Z friends with textured and curly hair.

Editorial

Our editorial expression leans more expressive. FRO embraces irreverent styling, fun hairstyles, collaging, and cheeky references all while maintaining the youthful spirit of the brand.

At FRO, we’ve always been interested in the nuances that make our hair unique. In our Siblings Series, we invited members of our hair community to share how their hair helps them stand out amidst the people closest to them and how this shared DNA can oftentimes produce different hair textures that encourage us to express ourselves so differently in our hair styles and hair care.

Damilola and Temi seemingly couldn’t be more different. Braids vs ponytails. Academia vs artistry. Kinks vs coils. Yet, when it comes to the textured hair experience, they jokingly agree on the pains of taking out hairstyles and shared concerns of a disheartening lack of representation in conversations surrounding haircare.

Social Media

Knowing FRO’s audience is primarily young digital natives, we geared our social media aesthetic to be punchy, youthful, and eye-catching. Bright colors pepper the feed while everything is grounded in black and cream.
